Captain Rhon wanted us all a chance to see what it's like to swim in really deep water, so on Friday he took us on a special trip.

Where?  Here... 2423'52.11"N 8155'39.90"W ... Approximately 18 miles South West of Key West.

The blue was amazing... very close to what you see in these photos.

While we were all enjoying the water, the captain took my camera to the top of the mast for the sake for the sake of these photos (great guy!)

We clustered together and took these various poses.  Notice how extremely clear the water is.  In some of them (like when we're doing back floats), it almost looks like we're floating in the air.

We were here for about 20-30 minutes before proceeding back.  It was only as we were climbing out that anybody noticed that the water was filled with jellyfish!  We're talking about the big 9" type.

(Nobody got stung)

Notice how high up the captain was to take these shots.

The shot above is one of my personal favorites from the whole trip
