There were two "heads" on the ship (bathrooms).
Both were tiny, and we received 15-20 minutes of instruction before we
set sail on how to flush the toilets.
Everybody took a turn at having
clean-up duties around the ship, which included cleaning the bathrooms
daily. And, to everyone's credit, there were never any complaints,
and everybody did a great job keeping things spic an span.
Even so, with 23 people on board, and with the waste not getting
dumped until we returned to dock, the smell could get a bit ripe.
Yet another reason to sleep above decks at night.
Note: these are not complaints. This was no worse
than using an outhouse or cat-hole during our normal camping trips.
