Sea Base: Lobster?

We didn't get any!

We wanted to.

We expected to.

We were even there for the first week of lobster season in the gulf.

We saw a couple hiding under rocks while we were snorkling.

But... we also learned from others that this was just a horrible season for catching them.  Many pros were coming back empty handed.  In the final balance, we took the captain's advice and focused on other things for our time at sea.  No regrets.

Mr. Mojave, however, did manage to pick a little guy up with his bare hands.  He also put it back, as it was in a protected area (and it was too tiny to eat anyway).

We did, however, pass this big boy on our drive down Rt. 1 from Fort Lauderdale to Sea Base.
