The drive in was around an hour long. Upon arrival they had dinner, for the first night, they had to bring food for themselves; the beds were fairly good, they slept well, then once they woke up in the morning they had a delicious breakfast, and for the majority of the day, they played in the snow (the usual, snowball fights etc.), and collected firewood for the fire the second night.

They managed to break away from the activities to have a lunch of grilled cheese, then around dinner time, they got amazing turkey and potatoes prepared by James (now an adult who is basically Eagle, although he plans to stick with the troop).

After dinner they played a few board games like Risk. The last morning of the trip they packed up their bags had a small breakfast and headed out back home. Overall I have been told it was an amazing trip definitely worth the cold December weather.

(I personally wasn’t in attendance for the campout, however, I was able to gain a fair bit of information (and photos!!!) from other scouts, from food to the beds, and everything in between!)
